Summer Programs

Are you looking to sharpen your skills before the fall season? Join us this summer for our Elite Co-Ed Clinics to improve your skating and keep your hockey skills sharp. Each camp session is designed to enhance an individual player’s growth by focusing on the development of your players fundamental hockey skills. All camp sessions will be held at Southwest Ice Arena this June / July. Space is limited to 25 per age level to ensure adequate player to coach ratios.

For those players who have mastered the skating and fundamental hockey skills taught in our Pre-Hockey programs, St. Jude offers competitive youth teams that compete in either the Central States Developmental Hockey League (CSDHL) prospects level for squirt through bantam level teams, CSDHL Peewee Major, NIHL (Girls only) and the Chicago United Hockey League (CUHL) for mite level teams (see Jr. Knights program tab for details). St. Jude youth teams are open to both boys and girls and compete at the mite (2017-2019 birth years) through Girls 19U (2006-2010 birth years) age levels.

Players time commitment is expected to be 3-5 hours per week (practices and games). Home games are played at Southwest Ice Arena and Oak Lawn Arena. Away games are played at other area rinks in the Chicagoland area. Girls will play in NIHL. CSDHL teams will compete in the PeeWee Major division (2013) or Prospects level. Players selected to teams will be placed on the appropriate level depending on the skills demonstrated during tryouts.
